Just got back from the Street Fighter movie, and one thing is very clear. This movie was made FOR the fans. If you are not even remotely intro Street Fighter and know NOTHING about its lore, This probably wont be your thing at all. But if you are?.....HOLY SHIT.

TLDR: Incredible movie, if you are a fan,go watch it. 8.5/10

With that said, For me, this is everything a video game adaptation should be. The references, the cameos, the respect for the source material and story. You can feel the love for streetfighter throughout this entire movie.
Its a very real, genuine, LOVE for this series and its community. (Shout out to the goats IFC Yipes, Jwong and Maximillian)

This movie is LOUD. This movie is WILD. And unapologetically fun. It knows exactly what it is doing and it doesnt ask your permission to go all in. I honestly cant begin to explain how much I enjoy the energy this film brings. The 2D animated segments are also incredible and beautifully animated by titmouse. They add a whole other layer to the movie that only elevates it.

Ryu and Ken were incredible. Dhalsim, Guile, Chun Li and Bison were all standouts to me, and do I even have to comment about Akuma? What a performance by Roman Reigns. The cast was literally PERFECT.

Could the ending maybe have been a BIT stronger? Sure. But its clearly setting the stage for a ROUND 2. Street fighter 2 baby, and im already sold honestly. I walked out of that theater wanting to watch this movie 3 more times and wishing I could buy a ticket to the sequel right away. Thats how much fun I had.

Bravo. @CapcomUSA_ @Street_Fighter @StreetFighter

Got some incredible news about Bell County Comic Con 2027, as we try to shatter the 42,000 attendee record with something amazing!

Hard to believe that what started as a small independent show 11 years ago has grown to be the largest independent comic convention in Texas!
