Advance polls are open until Saturday. Make sure to get out your vote in the referendum.
I’ll be voting for Option 1 to remain in Canada on question 10.
I’m voting Option 1 because standing up for Alberta and refusing to back down is working. The emissions cap is gone. C-69 no longer applies to our energy projects. Pacific Link is moving forward. We are getting results and we need to keep going.
And on questions 1 through 9, I’m voting YES. Alberta needs more authority to make decisions in our own interests, support more sustainable immigration and protect the social services Albertans rely on.

COLUMN: Weasel words led to Carney's recognition of Palestine
It now seems clear the PM misled Canadians when he said, in recognizing the Palestinian state on July 30, 2025, that Canada’s support was “predicated on the Palestinian Authority’s commitment to much-needed reforms.”

Canada's mild expression of 'deep regret' over Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' failure to achieve any of the so-called preconditions for an independent Palestinian state - which Canada has nonetheless already recognized - suggests Canada's position was performative nonsense
Canada, alongside Australia, France and the United Kingdom, expresses deep regret over the postponement of Palestinian elections until September 2027. Nearly two decades have passed since the last Palestinian Legislative Council elections, leaving an entire generation without the opportunity to elect its representatives.
We call on the Palestinian Authority to reconsider this decision and to take the necessary steps to hold legislative and presidential elections, without further delay.
