@sundayrobotics went from @tonyzzhao and @chichengcc in an apartment to 70+ people, 1000+ memory developers and over $1B valuation in just 18 months. Tony breaks down the nuts and bolts of building a fullstack robotics company from scratch on this week's episode of Good Company 🔩 @conviction
We’re hiring in-house Memory Developers to shape how Memo perceives and interacts with the world.
The Role:
📍 On-site & flexible (3–5 days/week).
👟 Record high-quality task demos (e.g. folding t-shirts, arranging shoes, etc).
🧠 Beta-test new hardware and software.
📈 High growth potential into management.
Apply below if you’re detail-oriented, curious about AI, and interested in contributing to the future of autonomous home robotics.
Sunday Robotics' @tonyzzhao says they're using gloves worn by people doing household chores to create the dataset they'll use to train their foundation model:
“This gives us really high-quality data, but also a really high diversity and quantity of data.”
The humanoid robot market is getting crowded.
So we sent @dagsen all around America to find the robot of his dreams. Featuring exclusive access to @sundayrobotics.

Sunday's dishwasher-loading, laundry-folding robot starts beta testing this year.
CEO Tony Zhao explains how the robot learns — and why it wears a hat https://t.co/y7pJB6ynl1
Memo is a robot that uses AI to perform household tasks effectively.
Today @sundayrobotics announced its Series B, and we’re proud to be investors.
Training robots for the home is hard — the environment is messy, dynamic, and full of edge cases. So Sunday is training robots directly on real households.
Founders @tonyzzhao and @chichengcc built a glove-based system that lets hundreds of contributors record everyday tasks in their own homes, creating high-fidelity demonstrations that feed directly into robot learning.
Home robotics will be defined by the companies that learn fastest from real homes. Sunday is building that loop.

3/ We're grateful to @Coatue for leading our round and to @thomas_coatue for joining our board. We welcome @BainCapVC, Fidelity Management and Research Company, Tiger Global, @Benchmark, @Conviction, Xtal Ventures, and others to our Series B.
We are hiring Firmware Engineers and Electrical Engineers to help us ship Memo to the world and power our Skill Capture Glove.
We are already shipping at scale to our Memory Developers, allowing us to toughen our DFM and processes before shipping Memo.
