@ThePOTSPostman Early sign was high heart rate and exhaustion after long phone calls, and unnatural exhaustion in the middle of tasks. A horrid wired feeling, like my whole body was shaking after doing things that shouldn’t have worn me out so fast.
@Illusionist999@meighanstone@jonstewart@TheDailyShow@weeklyshowpod@LCCampaign I got Covid before vaccines were available, before I’d gotten one, and I spent weeks in the hospital. I thought once I survived the virus it would be okay, but Long Covid disabled me, too. If ppl don’t want to live in denial that’s their problem.
@ThePOTSPostman I was just thinking about this today. A few weeks ago, I had 2 days where I felt about 50% back to pre COVID energy and ability levels, as opposed to the usual 20%. And I can’t stop wondering why, and if it’s possible to replicate it. I have no way of knowing.
@AndrewG76201347 I recently took Paxlovid for a Covid infection, I’m also immunocompromised. Also have chronic lung disease. I definitely felt improvement in symptoms but I also felt very spacey and out of it, so be aware that could happen.
@ThePOTSPostman It happened to me so much after I got sick, and ppl said, “You have to understand that ppl don’t know how to react around illness” . But for them to not even try was wild. I guess some are so in denial of their own mortality that they’ll remove any reminders of it.
@DiaryofaSickGrl Almost dying while in respiratory failure when I had Covid. I was admitted to the hospital and spent 2 weeks in limbo trying to improve.
@GavinNewsom And come January, he’s going to be enforcing the same ‘blue state’ stances on states that he didn’t win, punishing the people when we’re already hurting a lot financially due to his decisions.
@MarekSJF I was really sick with it in 2021 and managed to avoid it until 2 weeks ago. Absolutely horrible the 2nd time around but at least I managed to stay out of the hospital this time.
@spoonfulofhan Thanks for sharing, Han. Sometimes, I forget that other people are experiencing this, too. Looks like my symptoms are similar to yours. For me, this started in 2021, but also before vaccines were available. Hang in there. 🤍
