Since these are 2 are in the same general price point which one would you get? At first I thought the R2 was the immediate choice but the Model Y L has me rethinking. Help me decide.
FYI: Current Rivian R1T Gen 2 owner
Tesla just dropped the Model Y L in the US, starting at $61,990 for the launch edition. Itโs got six seats, a 325-mile range, and does 0โ60 in 4.4 seconds. The R2, on the other hand, is $4k cheaper, actually accelerates faster, and comes with lifetime Autonomy+.
The Y L gives you a third row and a year of FSD instead. These cars are clearly aimed at different folks, but Teslaโs definitely charging extra for the extra space.
And yeah, I know some people will say Autonomy+ and FSD arenโt really on the same level right now.
