Hyderabad turning into a Police State?

@psraidurgam_cyb police personnel in plain clothes barged into a corporate office and publicly harassed a Techie at his workplace without any written notice, paperwork or legal process.

Named officials:

• Suresh Kumar – Disha Mahila PS
• ACP Disha Mahila PS (on call)

Who gave them authority to storm into a private office in mufti and intimidate an employee in front of colleagues?

The Techie has been attending the police station whenever called.

Now his wife, relatives, and persons claiming to be police personnel entered his office in mufti and are pressuring him publicly.

If this can happen to a salaried Techie inside a corporate office today, no working professional in Hyderabad is safe tomorrow.

Urgent intervention needed from senior authorities, Human Rights bodies and IT companies before workplaces become police hunting grounds.@PMOIndia

Supreme Court hears a matrimonial case:

Husband’s counsel (HC): barely lived together for 3 months, now 13 years of separation. Multiple criminal cases against the husband and the family. They have been acquitted also.

Court: criminal complaints have resulted in acquittal?

Counsel: yes. Domestic violence case is pending. 498A (cruelty by husband and family) and dowry case has been dismissed finding no evidence.

Wife’s counsel (WC): maintenance case is pending. 19k was ordered for the child. Till date he is paying 2-3k. Not taking care of the son. There is no source of income for the lady.

HC: he was paying 19k till 2024. Thereafter he took up small jobs and still paid whatever was coming to him.

Court: best way out is stay together, save money.

HC: We can’t live together.

Court: live separately then. Whatever is continuing, let it continue. You’ll have to shell out a little.

HC: she says you are not handsome, you are black, I feel dirty.

WC: that allegation has not been proved. No evidence to that effect.

HC: it is something which is said to me in person.

Court: what is your offer (for permanent alimony)

HC: she asked for a huge amount of money and a house.

Court to WC: tell us his assets, we can work out something. File affidavit of assets and income.

The court ultimately referred the case to SC mediation centre on the request of both counsel.
