@surefirellc's Andrew Wright joins Ryan Gresham to break down everything from military-grade suppressor durability and the truth about round counts, to why compact carry guns now have zero excuse to run without a light.
The E2D Defender® Ultra delivers 1,000 lumens and 10,600 candela, making it one of the true workhorses in our lineup. First introduced in 2004, the E2D Defender® and its signature Strike Bezel® have earned the trust of professionals and civilians alike, proving themselves time and time again. Let us know if you’ve ever carried or used one!
The SureFire XC3® features ambidextrous switches engineered to provide a positive tactile feel for easy operation. A quick press and release activates constant-on mode, while pressing and holding provides momentary activation.
@_JesseCinco@LucasBotkin Beat us to it. The motocross industry has good stuff. Most big name gear brands, Fox, Alpinestars, Thor, etc…. make a thin glove that could transfer over to the shooting world.
The SOCOM-4 series came about specifically due to end user feedback. There was concern regarding the open vents of the RC3 front section, and how that could create an opportunity for downrange observation of the combustion signature (ignition) inside the suppressor, particularly with night vision devices. This was not flash leaving the muzzle, but visibility of the internal process itself. Contrary to YouTube thumbnails, the RC3 flash performance is quite good when mounted on the recommended muzzle devices (proof of which can be seen in any of the review videos).
We value that level of feedback and immediately began design changes to conceal the low back pressure bypasses. In line with these changes, our engineers had already been working on further optimization of the internal flow geometry, which resulted in improved traditional flash performance on the RC4. This isn’t an unprecedented timeline, as the RC2 followed the original RC in a similar pacing.
SureFire suppressors are among the most proven suppressors on the battlefield and in professional use, and the SOCOM-4 series is no exception. Go with the proven performer. Go SureFire.
