Meet Carnado: The #1 mixer on #Cardano
This product, originally developed by @OrcaLabsADA, has been fully acquired by me (@UTxOMaestro). From now on, I will serve as its founder and CEO.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve further improved the tool by adding support for CNT mixing.
This is now the ONLY mixer on Cardano capable of mixing BOTH $ADA and Cardano native tokens (CNTs), live on mainnet and available for everyone to use.
I’m a big believer in privacy, which is why I made a significant personal investment to acquire the product. I intend to make it one of the most widely used apps/tools on our blockchain.
To build a community around it, I plan to tokenize the platform by introducing the native token $NADO.
The logo and name are inspired by the phenomenal Ethereum mixer, Tornado Cash.
This tokenization model will direct nearly all product profits into $NADO buybacks.
The sky is the limit, see you mixing. 🫡
Recently using a lot @DanogoFinance. They provide good rates for stablecoin borrowing. My latest move there was borrowing #USDM at a fixed rate(22%) using my @snek as collateral. Then swapped #USDM -> #SNEK, so I'm having a small leverage long with relatively small funding :)
@fa42351414 Thanks :) not lost until sold, still trust @MicahAlexKenda1 and the @butaneprotocol team
The app experience itself is super nice and smooth when v2 launches with USDb, then we will see.
📢 Staked ADA locked as collateral in your Butane CDPs is eligible for the Midnight airdrop!
Your ADA remains yours even while locked and continues to be liquid staked by design.
It’s prime time to provide more clarity to misinformation that has been spread around Butane.
1. My team has never left. In fact, we’ve been iterating, modelling and implementing our next release, Butane V2.
2. Team allocation remains unminted, unsold. Only tokens for LP from the team allocation are in circulation.,
3. Butane protocol is live. It’s been used and has a modest TVL. Our active initiative is on enabling more robust & autonomous synthetic markets.,
Here’s what we’ve been working on lately:
- Offchain & SDK for V2,
- Prop testing & minor formal verification by external team,
- Working on integrations (use other apps inside butane),
- Feature design for V2 is complete,
I appreciate everyone who has stuck with butane, and also I appreciate those who at least keep their negative feedback to truthful statements.
I used to be an attack dog for Cardano.
Ready to defend at all costs.
Quick to call out, shut down, and push out anyone who questioned the mission.
I thought I was protecting something sacred.
But I was just afraid.
Afraid that disagreement meant weakness.
That challenge meant threat.
Fear dressed up as loyalty.
Now I see it differently.
Decentralization isn't agreement.
It's coexistence without control.
It means we don’t need to think the same, vote the same, or build the same to exist in the same system.
We talk about freedom.
We chant “decentralization.”
But the second someone speaks out of sync...we tell them to leave or worse, we bully them to leave.
Not realizing that’s just another form of control,
wrapped in community branding.
Discomfort isn’t exile.
Disagreement isn’t a threat.
In a decentralized world, the truth is:
We coexist.
Even when it’s messy.
Especially when it’s messy.
That’s not a bug.
That’s the entire design.
This system isn’t ours to gatekeep.
You can’t kick someone out of something we all share but no one owns.
I’m still here.
Still love Cardano.
Just not interested in silencing people to prove it..🫶🏻
The recent @butaneprotocol launch led to lots of talks, disappointments, and sales of BTN tokens. People are angry that the product is not what they expected and that there is no #usdb from day 1. I still believe it will do great and will keep supporting it.
You can blame that there is no #usdb or you can switch your #iusd or #djed loans from 38% to 9% with #Midas . The chart below shows that ada/usd and ada/gold don't have much difference
