It all started when Happppy song was uploaded to osu! by chance, which gave many people their first opportunity to discover my music. I was genuinely happy about that, and I’m still grateful for it.
At the same time, I became aware that many people were expecting music suited for high-level rhythm games. While I understood those expectations, I’ve always chosen to focus on creating the music I truly want to make.
Because of that, I may not have always met what some listeners were hoping for. But over the years, my relationship with my listeners has gradually changed.
It’s been eight years since then, and while I don’t think I’ve had another moment as widely recognized as Happppy song, I feel that more people now are connecting with my music on a deeper level—engaging with the sound, the ideas, and the emotions behind it.
Even without a major hit, the fact that there are still people who continue to listen to my music means a lot to me. That kind of steady support is something I truly value.
To those who may have moved on, those who have stayed with me for years, and those who have only recently found my music—thank you to everyone who has ever taken the time to listen.
I sincerely appreciate it.
I got lost hiking up a mountain, and I saw a shepherd. I asked him "How far up are we?" and he answered "Yotogibanashi no Kamikakushi, mrekk vs rektygon". That's how I realized, I already knew the answer. We were at the peak.
Last night, I was alive. Take me back, I can't sleep.
