An update from @TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators - they've informed me 100% that they will NOT be letting me come back to the platform AND will be keeping the $75ish dollars that they hadn't paid me out yet. I'm sure keeping my money didn't factor into that choice at all haha
Hey @TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators, so about that unjust t3rm!n@ti0n of my account? Any chance you'll have a human reconsider the AIs decision to end my 10 YEARS of Youtube partnership over a PRIVATE My Little Pony gameplay video? Why are you ignoring me?

Creators have been complaining for a long time, and their concerns have finally reached federal authorities.
YouTube has been terminating creators’ accounts with little to no explanation and seemingly no reliable system for resolving mistakes.
Now, the FTC is reportedly preparing a lawsuit against YouTube over allegations that the platform misled users about its content policies before suspending their accounts.
Meta also recently lost a multibillion-dollar lawsuit. No matter how you feel about Trump, his administration appears serious about holding Big Tech accountable when these companies allegedly mistreat their users.
What do you think about this?
@TastyPaperclips@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators Yeah, it's the worst :( I'm not gonna be able to harass them to the degree that's deserved because my followers want to see the kinds of posts they followed me for. It'll just hurt me in the end. But man, is it tempting. Keep fighting the good fight.
@roger_creus_art@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators Ughhh duuuude. Unbelievable. Sorry about your ban too by the way. Good thing we're both focusing on paths that don't rely on that system any more.
@roger_creus_art@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators I doubt Google drive is safe. I use mega for personal storage, and sites like https://t.co/wazqk0IRRu and swisstransfer for transfers. Can't trust Google with anything nowadays.
@roger_creus_art@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators Yup, I figured they'd at least give a strike or sent the upload with their automated checks. But nope, it all went through fine, then email about termination 10 minutes later. Support says that "if a single offense is bad enough, we can terminate instantly at our discretion." ->
@KellyUlleanne@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators Yeah :( purging real content with AI and letting AI slop take over instead. It's a real shame. It's part of why I'm so happy I started going on this VA journey. At least this isn't relient on a single plaltform's ridiculous and ever-changing rules
@KellyUlleanne@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators Exactly. That's what I'm used to. And the rules still REFLECT that. It says "you can't POST" x and y, which means to PUBLISH, which means to MAKE PUBLIC. So I followed that rule, but because AI snoops on everything, they still smited anyway. No warnings or strikes or anything.
@roger_creus_art@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators Uploaded a privated video of myself and my friends playing a raunchy My Little pony fangame :T thought I could just use it for the file storage and never show it to anybody, but their AI flagged it the moment it was uploaded and terminated me instantly.
@KellyUlleanne@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators for video storage. Their rules all talk about POSTING, which means to make publicly available, so I thought private videos were exempt. But now that they're using AI to snoop in on everything, their AI terminated my channel 10 minutes after it was uploaded.
@KellyUlleanne@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators Thanks Kelly 💔 I had a cover channel, as I am a YouTube singer before I am a VA, although most of my biggest stuff is on my collaborators' channels. I got nuked because I was playing through a raunchy My Little pony fangame with friends and uploaded it as a private video, just-
@SirSealVT@TeamYouTube@YouTubeCreators Oh, they did see me lol. They just chose to maintain their decision. I'm sure that if I was monetarily more profitable for them, they would've kept me. Bigger creators are allowed back on the platform after much worse than this.
