Calafiori only just turned 24 and still has 3 years on his contract. Selling him sends a bad message. I’d only consider it if the fee is crazy, which Real Madrid of recent years seem unwilling to do

If we sign Nathaniel Brown for reasonable money ( something like £50m ) and Madrid are willing to pay up to £60m for Calafiori will you be happy to see him go?

If he leaves we will have Hincapie, Nathan Brown and Skelly as left back options ( Skelly will be more in midfield but a left back option when necessary).

Kroupi is an unbelievable talent but he’s not even a guaranteed starter at Bournemouth yet. You’d be investing £80m on a bit part player (with potential to be world class). I think it has to be Alvarez if it’s possible

I think Rogers has been our prime target for this summer window since last year. It also explains why they gambled and didn’t go for Semenyo in January even though it meant Man City would have a much better chance at the title by signing him
