Final projects exploring designs for specialized art galleries with historical precedence related to the types of art they would house were created by students in a sophomore architecture design studio class.
Graduate student Umme Tahmina Haque, advised by architecture faculty members Andrew Tripp and Susanneh Bieber, is exploring the potential of inflatable architecture. Her full-scale inflatable prototype pushes the boundaries of design and challenges traditional building methods.
Last Wednesday, November 27th, Dr. Anat Geva presented her book titled “The Architecture of Modern American Synagogues, 1950s–1960s“ to the Department of Architecture’s emeritus faculty. Congratulations Dr. Anat Geva!
