@hasbybets@mak3333@LombardIsKing_ He'd be much more useful that the 8th guy in a bullpen with a 5 ERA who gives up random bunches of runs and isn't getting used in any of those situations either
@TierReport@LombardIsKing_ No he'd be incredibly easy to roster because you could put him in any inning once you had a big enough lead, and you could also use him in bad losses. He'd eat a ton of innings and keep the rest of the bullpen fresh.
@LombardIsKing_ Does his ability mean that he can do it no matter how fatigued his arm is? Because in that case he could be strategically employed in any game and he'd at least be significantly more valuable than any other back of the bullpen arm.
@Lord_Jorah@RickSmithafl5@Bonecondor@AJA_Cortes Only a couple specific thyroid cancers in mice studies, never been linked in human studies, and humans have much fewer glp-1 receptors in their thyroids than mice, so there is a known mechanistic reason why it may not be so much of an issue for humans.
@DawnOfSunset@ValDelamere No, in real life, you can't build a predictor based on theory of mind and data that would be anywhere near perfect. So when posed as a hypothetical I take 1 box because it predicted I will. Give me the test for real and I tell you your predictor is full of shit and take 2
@ValDelamere Yes, to me it makes a difference if there is a "perfect" predictor or just really good. It's supposed to test your intuition on reverse causality, but if you tell me the predictor is "perfect" then it's just magic, and why couldn't there be reverse causality if there is magic.
@cantstopthclock@UmpireAuditor He was pretty consistent, his zone just didn't agree with the abs zone. Mostly he called strikes off the outside edge to RH hitters. The Twins hitters got a couple missed calls overturned. The Reds hitters were wrong on 2 challenges, both on pitches to the other side of the plate
@Wolvesmuse Giannis could certainly make a huge impact, but I'm wary of making a trade to go down to literally 5 reliable players. I think I'm more interested in a trade that adds a reliable 7th man at this point.
