Our CEO Tara Chklovski saw there weren’t enough girls in #STEM programs.
She founded @Technovation to empower girls with the latest technology, like AI powered by #GoogleDataCenters and app-builders, to solve humanity’s crises.

Somewhere right now, a young innovator is looking at a problem no one else is solving. She has an idea and a free program, because of you. Follow along this season to see what she builds.
In October, the new Technovation season begins. Builders worldwide will identify problems in their communities and build AI-powered solutions with free curriculum, mentorship, and tools, all funded by last month's campaign.
These builders identified problems and built working solutions. Most people never attempt what they did.
The 2026 Technovation Girls semifinalists are live. 🎉

Javiera spent a year saving bus fare to attend Technovation meetings 450km from home.
Oxford Saïd just gave her a full scholarship.
She also came back as a Student Ambassador after finishing the program. Recruited the next generation. Didn't wait to be asked.
This is what "building for life" actually looks like.

Meet the Niñas Poderosas of Instituto SATUYE, one of 84 Honduras teams that created a working app this year.
91% now want STEM careers. 88% walked out more sure of themselves.

A group of high school girls saw a problem and built a solution.
To every team who showed up to their regional pitch competition this season: that courage alone is worth celebrating. 👏
And to the ones moving on: next stop, semifinals! 🏆 Congratulations, girls. We're just getting started.
My team (of pretty engineering girls🤭😅)
@darra_com and I just won the Regional pitch event for the @technovation Girls Hackathon 2026, senior division.
We built My-Baby, which is a multichannel platform that connects doctors to new mothers for adequate care!
On to the semifinals!😌

Just celebrated 228 Student Ambassadors + 70 Club Leaders across 79 countries who poured into the next generation of Technovation girls this season. 💛
87% now believe they can make a difference in their community. 86% want a future in STEM, entrepreneurship, or leadership.

Layali Khatib built an AI app for new mothers at 14.
At 19, she's a Mechatronics Engineering student and the youngest astronaut candidate in the world. 😎

Meera Kaushik just won Best UI at Technovation Girls Waterloo. Her mentor Dafna Matsegora (MMath CS @ Waterloo) was in the room.

She already has the idea. The wireframes are in her notebook. She named the problem long before we met her.
She's missing the runway. Technovation provides her with a team, mentor, and prototype. That's how a teen becomes a founder.

What a privilege to see the future looking so bright. I had the opportunity to attend @technovation alongside my good friend Nancy Robertson, an ambassador for the program.
Technovation is a global initiative that inspires young girls to explore technology and entrepreneurship. In a city like Ottawa, where the tech sector continues to grow and thrive, programs like this are incredibly important. They encourage the next generation of young women to build skills in coding, innovation, and problem-solving.
I had the chance to see presentations focused on:
• Health care
• City apps
• Food insecurity
• Study tools
What stood out most was that every presentation incorporated AI as part of the solution.
A huge thank you to @IBM for supporting such an impactful program and helping empower the innovators of tomorrow.
