The 1984 Republican National Convention was held in Dallas, where Ronald Reagan accepted his second presidential nomination alongside George H. W. Bush. It remains the ONLY Republican or Democratic presidential nominating convention ever held in Dallas. 42 years later, the Republican Party will make history once again holding the first ever Midterm Convention in Dallas.
