I have now seen the movie myself.

And I gotta admit.......

..........I was completely correct. This movie sucked. It was genuinely awful, and anyone that's going to try and tell you that it's like the original cartoon in ANY way is a liar, or delusional at BEST.

The Bayformer films are better.

The 2017 Power Rangers film is better.

Because neither of them tried to lie about what they are, as awful as they are.

Travis Knight is a nepo-baby hack and there's nothing redeeming about this piss-poor excuse for a film.

@HollywoodHandle $29.3M on a $200M budget is a catastrophe. Nobody asked for this movie, they made it anyway, and the audience responded accordingly. Hollywood really needs to stop forcing these reboots and hoping nostalgia does the heavy lifting.

Genuinely funny to me that for an IP that never made itself appealing to anyone under the age of 35 and finding there isn't an audience for it. No successful reboots, tie in media or anything beyond the OG show and comics to garner new audiences in the 40+ years it's existed.
