@matoxley@vaclavduskajr Lots going on there - one sat having a picnic, one starting the "Oops up side your head" dance, whilst the main proponent masters the art of knee-squat levitation π€£ ...... Awesome shot! π
@Nigel_Farage Let me just check your hypocracy - So the Danes can't keep Greenland just because someone rocked up in a boat 500 years ago, but because we did that to the Chagos Islands, we should?
@RusGarbageHuman@RupertLowe10 Definitely bring that in here - Farage would have to resign as an MP and Reform as he has dual (Belgian?) nationality ππ€£
@matoxley@BikeMagazine The crowds of people lining the roads for miles as you left Le Man's, hi speed runs down the mulsanne straight, more straw bales year on year on every corner from Paul Ricard to Bandol, "the village" at the back of the Mistral ... I can still smell the pine smoke now π
@matoxley@BikeMagazine Halcyon days π sat in the original pit lane stands at Le Man's or the parapets over the garages at Paul Ricard, legs dangling over the edge, cheering on Team Bike or Phase One .... bikes riding into sunset/out of the sunrise ..... track invasions 30mins before the end .....
@SamWTotter@matoxley @thomasmike4964 89 ...... that was the year they stopped in the early hours of the night/morning due to rain π€ my mind (in fairness, past octagons of Kronenbourg) blurs them now π«£π€£
@matoxley Not really arguing the pros & cons of this case, but as a counterpoint, if there's a technology that's easily deployed & reasonably inexpensive, what reason is there for not using it? If it's necessary at race speeds, why isn't it for testing (where you're more likely to crash)?
@matoxley Listen to what he says .... from their perspective he's talking about uk de-regulating & giving early approval to new medicines and using us as guinea pigs before releasing them to the wider European market ..... I'm sure most will see how that's a great brexit benefit !!! π³ππ«£
@matoxley Best sound ever .... RC30 tipping into Courbe de Signes on the overrun from the Mistral as dawn rises over Le Beausset ...... π
Oh, I miss those days .....
@matoxley @Patriarchaic It's interesting that in an age when diversity of gender, physicality, neuro-divergence, etc is to be celebrated that from a marketing perspective divergence or uniqueness of character is unacceptable π π«£π€£
@Ex_arv_sgt When I did my RAC/ACU training scheme back in the year nineteen hundred & frozen to death, I was told by a D&C police instructor "sometimes better to be wronged but alive, than right but dead". He was describing exactly this situation & defensive riding π
@richarddtye1@matoxley From a sporting perspective maybe, but modern GP bikes are truly fugly aren't they!! Not like the streamlined beauty of the Cagivas or NSR's ...
