Owner of 101 Linwood not taking care of the property again: more trash, more breaking and entering and now sidewalks are damaged. Can they not be held accountable for violating the safety of the neighborhood? We’ve already lost one vehicle to an attempted break-in. @EricWBunch

More fire trucks out tonight on the old Salvation Army building. How many tax dollars is that costing? The trash is piling up, the homeless are still breaking in even though there’s a fence up, and the place is looking a mess, in the middle of an historic neighborhood! #kcmo311

@KCMO311 @EricWBunch Do we know what the plans are for the building? Do we dates for a possible demolition? Will the owners communicate to the neighborhood? This is a residential area and we’re worried about smoke, fumes and dust if they take the building down… @KCMO311

In the space of 6 months, this beautiful 100 year old historic building has been abandoned, overrun by homeless people and vandals and now be slated for demolition! And no communication whatsoever with the neighborhood! How can the owner get away with this? #kcmo

I wonder why a crew of guys would come in and only take down and remove half of the kids playground and half of the fence. It’s almost like the owners wanted people to break in and vandalize the property. Oh and I hope there isn’t someone sleeping in that tent! 🥶 @KCMO311

Homeless people have broken into the Salvation Army building on Linwood and Wyandotte and have lit a fire in one of the out-buildings. There’s trash everywhere, our car has been broken into and nothing is being done to secure the empty building. Where are the owners? @KCMO311
