While his arm has shown flashes prior years, it is unremarkable following his surgery last year, and it’s indicative of the general point of view on Strosnider. People are remembering the flashes, and missing the numerous warning signs.

Sawyer Strosnider has been ranked as a 1st round pick all year. Although he has produced undeniably impressive pop, his 27% chase rate and 26.1% SweetSpot% are major concerns. He chases everything and has struggled heavily against lefties his entire career, and he can’t keep

ball off the ground. While the power is there, the hit tool is a 40 at best to me. On top of that, despite the fact that some see him as a pro CF, his 2.57 DRS in RF are extremely unimpressive, especially considering the level of athlete Strosnider is.
