Our principals and administration met today in the first meeting of the 2026-2027 school year! Next week we welcome new teachers and staff before school beings on August 13.

District 202 will host Navigate 360 ALICE training from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 29 and July 30 at Ira Jones Middle School, 15320 Wallin Drive. There will be multiple law enforcement and governmental vehicles at the school for the training.

5th grade students have been hard at work on our “Produce for President” writing project! Each student chose a fruit or vegetable candidate and is practicing persuasive writing by explaining its versatility, variety, nutrition, and why it deserves to be president!

This is a reminder for students to wear neon/glow-in-the-dark outfits tomorrow to celebrate our GLOW SHOW, One School-One Book and 5th grade Keystone! Our family evening begins at 5 PM, and you won’t want to miss it!

Our second grade classes participated in several environmental lessons this year and earned an Earth Day flag for our school. We are so proud of our students for their commitment to caring for our planet!
