It’s a Wet Hot Tribeca Summer!
In our first Storytellers conversation of the Fest, Paul Rudd sat down with @sethmeyers to discuss his sprawling 30-year career in film, TV, and theater, including:
🇺🇸 Booking Wet Hot American Summer without a background in sketch comedy
🎃 Having his first film, Halloween 6, released on the heels of his breakout performance in Clueless (“every actor’s nightmare!”)
🐝 Meyers even snuck in a question about his dream “Day Drinking” guest: the Queen Bey herself (@Beyonce, can we make this happen?)
When asked if there were any films in his career he’d like audiences to give a second chance, Rudd named:
▪️ The Château (2001)
▪️ Our Idiot Brother (2011)
▪️ Gen-Y Cops (2000)
Please - for Paul - pay these overlooked gems a revisit!
Storytellers: Paul Rudd with Seth Meyers is presented by @CityNational

The Siege of Paradise cheekily scrutinizes the annual tourist season at Cinque Terre in Italy, "the most beautiful place in the world," including the arrival of TikTokers and influencers. This exposure and attention has brought an onslaught of visitors each tourist season who descend and overwhelm the otherwise tranquil lifestyles of the locals. Fabrizia Pecunia, the mayor of the Riomaggiore village, reveals that Cinque Terre has over 4,000 current residents… while having an annual tourist influx of 3.5 million people.
This unsustainable situation sparks an escalating tension between the locals and tourists. This documentary probes inquisitively into a cultural identity in jeopardy and, in the process, delivers a humorous and poignant story of paradise under pressure.

Under traumatic circumstances, Gül gives birth to her first child: an inhuman creature. While her partner leaves, she decides to care for her newborn offspring. But in a community where misogyny runs rampant and no one has any interest in providing support to a single mother living on society’s outskirts, motherhood is extremely difficult.
With horror as singular and disorienting as the best of Andrzej Żuławski and the emotional impact of a sledgehammer, Mutter is a unique marvel about how far a mother will go to protect her newborn, albeit alien-like, offspring by any means necessary.

Summer of Three (2026) | Official Clip
Following the death of his beloved grandfather, Javi returns home to his native Puerto Rico for the funeral. Upon arrival, he reunites with old family and friends but discovers something new along the way: Luife and Kiki, two social misfits who run through the island like they own it.
A burgeoning love triangle begins as the trio go on a run of adventures that would make even the greatest influencers jealous. But the majesty of Puerto Rico’s lush trees and vibrant sky also makes way for challenges to Javi’s own notions of love, friendship and loss.

Inside the Central Prison of Douala, Cameroon, a group of incarcerated artists are making something extraordinary. Documenting the first recording studio built in a prison, #JailTimeRecords follows these artists as they transform their circumstances through music. In the middle of conflict and difficulty, music emerges as the film's invisible protagonist: the driving force that unites extremely different characters, transcends their suffering, and offers the possibility for change and redemption.

An intimate portrait of Irish artist Guggi, tracing his journey from post-punk notoriety to a solitary life of painting. With impressive access, director Ian Thuillier shares Guggi’s humble stories of growing up with his tight-knit group of friends: Bono, lead singer of U2, and Gavin Friday, founder of the musical group Virgin Prunes.
Guggi’s work explores the depictions of everyday objects with a focus on repetition and abstraction, his signature motifs of bowls and other vessels freed of their context. Thuillier’s patient exploration immerses the viewer in Guggi’s creative process and completed works.
