Quiet Light is the project of Texas singer and producer Riya Mahesh, her creative downtime from the intensity of medical school. 'Blue Angel Sparkling Silver 2' is her seventh project and her first with True Panther, one of the most consistent labels at surfacing incredible talent, from current signings like Oklou and Jawnino to past releases by King Krule and Tobias Jesso Jr.

Entirely self-produced and recorded mostly in her bedroom studio in Austin, it’s an impressive high-water mark in her catalog.

“This record is for people who dream about what their life could be like,” she says of her gorgeous new album, which is out now.
