TYCHO will bring permanent communication to Moon's far side via TMA-0 communication relay satellite on Earth-Moon libration point EML-4... and it uses LASER!
🌒 Can you build the infrastructure to deliver #communication and #navigation services in Lunar Orbit? Answer to the ITT before 26 May 👉 https://t.co/pawTQSsg2y
Under the #Moonlight Programme, @esa will act as an anchor customer while the services can be sold to other entities
Taken during the #Artemis I Moon flyby, the optical navigation camera aboard the @NASA_Orion spacecraft closely captured stunning pics of craters on the Moon. 🌕

Handover complete! The @NearSpaceNet has handed over #Artemis comms to @NASA's Deep Space Network!
The NSN successfully enabled communications for @NASA_Orion during launch and early ascent. Now, the DSN will support the spacecraft en route to and in orbit around the Moon.
We’re going back to the Moon and staying ! 🚀🌕
As we explore the moon further and establish a lunar economy, @EsaTelecoms will provide connectivity to lunar activities and exploration through our #Moonlight programme 🛰️ #Artemis#ForwardToTheMoon
Bonjour Paris!
Don‘t forget, today is our #IAC2022 presentation „AUTO-TDS: Enabling #laser communication networks to auto detect incoming links, securing connection & auto-routing the data“ in B2.5 at 10:45.
Feel kindly invited to join us there.

The #Artemis I mission will require both of @NASA's communications networks to work together to enable a seamless mission.
Different communications services will be needed as @NASA_Orion leaves Earth, orbits the Moon, and returns safely home.

Happily presenting our work at the Advanced Photonics Congress #APC22#SPPCOM, Free-space optical com session, on the « Channel Model of a Ground to Satellite Optical Link Pre-Compensated by Adaptive Optics » 🛰 looking forward to meet you all and see you there !
#ICYMI: Last week @FIAFarnborough Airshow in the UK we highlighted our #5G/#6G Hub, project #Moonlight and much more. Read more about @ESA’s activities at #FIA22 here👉https://t.co/okxKQRmHfe
Grand opening of @DLR_de's Johannes Kepler Observatory! 🔭✨It houses the largest telescope of its kind in #Europe & will use cutting-edge laser technology to detect #spacedebris. The primary goal is to contribute to the safe use of #space: https://t.co/lgS7Pp2qYh
How we choose to settle the Moon, now, will establish how we explore and settle everywhere beyond. Pivotal moment in time. Please help fund a research fellow - thanks!
MISSION UPDATE: After a successful first trajectory correction maneuver on July 7, the #CAPSTONE team is standing down from today's scheduled maneuver to perform additional analysis on the spacecraft and determine whether it is still needed at this time: https://t.co/wUpKPrTmgh
We’ve got “eyes” on #CAPSTONE! 🛰️
NASA's Eyes app will now let you visualize the spacecraft on its journey to the Moon in real time! Follow along, so you don’t miss a minute of this mission: https://t.co/MP7AkoiTnm
After 26 missions, Electron is no stranger to low Earth orbit, but our next mission will see us launch much farther than usual. Learn more about the rocket launching #CAPSTONE to the Moon for @NASA and @AdvancedSpace.
