The conference brought together healthcare experts from various institutions, stakeholders working to improve healthcare services in Somalia, and members of the community to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the country’s healthcare sector.

The conference brings together academics, policymakers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to discuss key priorities for economic development, strengthening regional cooperation, and expanding business opportunities.

EACON 2026 focused on strengthening Somalia’s integration into the East African Community (EAC), enhancing regional business competitiveness, and developing workforce skills. The conference also served as an important platform for knowledge exchange, fostering partnerships, and creating new business and development opportunities.

HageAI is a platform developed by some of the students who benefited from the Bile Initiative. It is designed to help students test themselves and assess their level of knowledge before taking international examinations.

The platform gives students the opportunity to take practice exams, helping them understand their level in the subjects they are studying, identify their strengths, and recognize the areas where they need to put in more effort.

A group of students who benefited from the Bile Initiative, particularly those specializing in Cloud Computing, presented a system to the Somalia Ministry of Education designed to address the performance challenges that occur when the Ministry releases the results of the national certificate examination.

The system focuses on addressing the high load placed on the platform during the first hours after the results are announced, when a large number of students attempt to access their results simultaneously.

The students also presented their message and proposal to the National Higher Education Committee, sharing their ideas on addressing challenges within educational service systems and improving their efficiency and reliability.

The KAALMO Fundraising System, a platform designed to facilitate fundraising campaigns for vulnerable communities, was presented at the Bile Initiative Closing Ceremony by some of the students who benefited from the Bile Initiative.

The project provides significant value to vulnerable people in need of support by presenting clear and transparent information about the individuals receiving assistance, helping strengthen transparency and trust in charitable fundraising campaigns.

Following the presentation of the KAALMO Fundraising System, the students called on organizations and companies working in the charity sector to invest in the system so it can be further developed and made accessible to the communities it is designed to serve.

Dalag B2B Marketplace is a system professionally created by some of the students who benefited from the Bile Initiative, and was presented during the Bile Initiative Closing Ceremony.

The system focuses on addressing the marketing needs of farmers’ agricultural produce, providing farmers with a platform where they can easily manage their crops. At the same time, vegetable traders can easily view the different crops and produce listed by farmers.

Following their presentation, the students requested funding and support to further develop the system and expand the solutions it provides to the challenges faced by farmers.
