Christmas! The word includes in its significance all the joys and possibilities of the God-man. Christmas is the time when angels and men rejoiced together over the coming of the Prince of Peace.

5 years after a devastating fire almost destroyed the beloved and famed Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, we have finally seen the first glimpses inside the restored building. More than 1,200 artisans were involved in the restoration of this iconic church, which is set to formally reopen on December 7th. As horrible and tragic as the fires were, Notre Dame now shines anew, murals of the past rediscovered, stone polished and gleaming under what was once years of soot, and now, the building is safe and secure. How beautiful that the cathedral will be open again in time for the holidays and for Christmas!🎄#abovethenoise
History was made Tuesday as Maryland & Delaware elected Black women to the U.S. Senate: Angela Alsobrooks & Lisa Blunt Rochester. Their victories double the number of Black women elected to the Senate, marking a powerful step toward greater representation! https://t.co/ljTEdgTxEe
You still have your family.
You still have your friends.
You still have your work.
You still have your passions.
You still have your diversions.
You still have the capacity to feel joy, and the means of doing so.
You still have your mind, which is and will always be yours alone.
And you still have the ability, no matter how difficult it may seem, to choose to carry on with your life, and spend the one and only existence you will get for all eternity in as loving, fulfilling, and authentic a way as you possibly can.
To the men in my life, to men everywhere; to the women in my life, to women everywhere—let’s honor ourselves, our safety, our futures and may others honor us too. May we vote for our present and our future.
