Although Tehran has seen President Trump’s public rejection of their proposed seven-day plan, Iranian FM Araghchi says no formal response has yet been received through intermediaries.

“We are waiting for concrete positions to be conveyed to us through intermediaries,” Araghchi said, stressing that any progress toward reopening the Strait of Hormuz depends on Washington fulfilling Iran’s conditions.

Araghchi added that Tehran has “never closed the door to diplomacy” but would continue resisting military and economic pressure.

We had a day this last week where over 20 million barrels of oil, more than pre-conflict levers, flowed out of the straits.

The running average today is almost 13 million barrels a day. So the oil and gas are coming out of the Strait of Hormuz.

The pricing problem today is much more refining capacity than it actually is the flow of oil.

Poland and Lithuania are developing joint procedures for the potential mass evacuation of civilians across their shared border in the event of an attack on the Baltic states, according to Polish broadcaster TVP.

China holds that the sovereignty and security of countries in the Middle East, including the Gulf, should be respected.

China calls for advancing the governance of the West Bank and the post-conflict reconstruction of Gaza in accordance with the principle of the Palestinians governing Palestine.

It also calls for bringing the Palestinian question back onto the right track of the two-state solution at an early date.
