Xandyr is a blend of my husband's personality and a way for me to dig into my unresolved grief for a severe injury that happened to my brother when he was young that changed his personality entirely. Not me.

Nero is a genocidal maniac who enjoys killing all living things and gutting gods open simply because he can, he loves holding power over others, and he just wants to. He enjoys the feeling of killing and breaking things and doesnt hesitate in his cruelty. Not me at all.

Catalina is a representation of my desire and longing for a mother's emotional softness and desire for approval from others- pleasing to a fault. But she would rather wallow and rot in her grief than admit she has a problem and seek help. She is quiet and timid and self-loathing. Not how i function.

K'an-Pakal and Ren are brave, loud and unashamed, but they often let their pride get in the way of doing what must be done and despire showing weakness. Not the type of person i am.

Nasha is stubborn, aggressive and quick to anger-the opposite of who I am IRL. I could go on and on.

You can project and integrate parts of your life, experiences, and who you are into your OCs, but that doesnt mean they all represent you and who you are as a person, what you believe in, who you want to be, and what you stand for. It doesnt mean theyre a self insert. Its a balance.

Theyre allowed to be complex. to do and say bad, middle ground, and harmfully-good things as a way to explore and open conversation around a topic- a tool for writing, moral discussions and deep self-reflection. If all of my OCs were reflective of myself and what I want, thatd be pretty damn boring. Not to mention, only 1 OC even remotely looks like me and even then it's a stretch.

It's finally time! I've been working on this document for a few weeks now and it is finally ready! Let me clarify some things before we begin:

1. This is an open audition event- anyone with any level of experience can audition, even if you've never voice acted before!
2. The audition portion is UNPAID-- however if I give you a part/ you land a role I will pay you on project to project basis.
3. Projects will be given at random i.e. this is not a contracted job or role~ I will basically come to you in the future with 'Hey I have this thing I drew or a project in mind, got time to voice it for me?' and pay accordingly. This also gives me flexibility to work with multiple VAs
4. You can audition for multiple roles if you wish! Understand though that just because you audition does not mean you are automatically guaranteed a role.
5. PLEASE please ask any questions you have! I don't bite.
