Dwayne Johnson transforms into MMA legend Mark Kerr in #TheSmashingMachine. It’s raw, emotional, and he’s almost unrecognizable. Think Uncut Gems meets The Wrestler, a decent A24 watch, but not quite award-winning caliber.

This is Dwayne Johnson’s best performance. With Emily Blunt, the chemistry is both humorous and powerful. Though there are a few slow moments, it’s a grounded, raw, and redemptive MMA fight story, a solid watch.

Gen V Season 2 brings all the gore and shock you’d expect, plus some wild cameos and surprising plot twists. The writers do a great job exploring Marie and the crew’s stories, setting up a promising finale for The Boys universe. Solid 8/10.

#TheLongWalk  is an emotional gut-punch. Terrifying and tense, with a cast that makes every loss hurt. David Jonsson is a standout and continues to show he’s a rising star. I'm surprised it gave me the feels and a little cringe. It's like Stand By Me meets The Hunger Games.

Zach Cregger continues to revive horror in bold, unexpected ways. Think an R-rated R.L. Stine story mashed with It and 28 Days Later.
Highly recommend.
