I'm relieved because if a Muslim country had lifted that trophy, many of us would have treated it as proof that our country had become great.

But here's my question...

*Is that really what makes a nation great?*

Think about it.

China has never won a World Cup. Nobody doubts its economic influence.

The United States didn't win. Nobody says it's no longer a global power.

Football success has never been the world's measure of civilisational greatness.

So why should it become ours?

Islam taught us a far higher standard.

A great ummah is one that establishes justice.

One that protects its people in Gaza and other places.

One that feeds its people.

One that advances knowledge.

One that stands up for the oppressed.

One whose values inspire humanity.

Those are the things that made the early Muslim civilisation and the Khilafah respected across the world—not because it won games, but because it transformed lives.

Enjoy football.

But don't let a football tournament redefine success.

An Ummah of nearly two billion people should dream bigger than lifting a trophy.

The question isn't whether Muslims can win the World Cup.

The real question is:

*When will we once again become a civilisation whose justice, knowledge and leadership make the world take notice?*

That's a victory worth celebrating

While the world's media attention is focused on other events, the massacres in Gaza continue. The perpetrators are systematically killing people, employing a tactic of constant torment and exhaustion of the population.

Since early Friday morning, 14 Muslim martyrs have been killed – may Allah accept them among the martyrs. Another 37 people have been injured.

Recently, a funeral procession in Nuseirat was targeted. Eight people who had come to pay their respects to the deceased were also killed in the attack. Those who came to witness the final farewell became victims themselves.

Can you imagine the extent of this brutality? Now, even funeral processions are not safe. Even those mourning are becoming targets.

Oh Allah, have mercy on the people of Gaza, strengthen their hearts with patience and fortitude. Punish those who oppress them and plot against them. Grant us the power to help our brothers and sisters, and do not let us be among those who abandon them.

In days of strife and blood-soaked sands,
A hero rose, his name etched in golden strands.
*Salahuddin*, noble and just,
His sword ablaze, his heart devout.

From Tikrit's cradle, he emerged,
A beacon of hope, a destiny surged.
His love for learning, tears at Qur'an's verse,
Guided his path, a flame that would disperse.

Jerusalem, once bathed in Crusader's might,
Its streets wept blood, its people's plight.
But Salahuddin, with unwavering might,
Marched forth to reclaim the sacred site.

*Al-Quds*, the jewel, the city of dreams,
He fought for justice, where sunlight gleams.
Generosity flowed from his noble soul,
Even to foes, his mercy took its toll.

Chivalry adorned his every deed,
Enemies marvelled at his valorous creed.
In unity, he rallied the fractured Ummah,
Against treachery, division, and false drama.

His legacy echoes through time's embrace,
A liberator, a sage, a celestial grace.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ سَعْدَانَ الْقُبِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُدِلَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم  " ثَلاَثَةٌ لاَ تُرَدُّ دَعْوَتُهُمُ الصَّائِمُ حَتَّى يُفْطِرَ وَالإِمَامُ الْعَادِلُ وَدَعْوَةُ الْمَظْلُومِ يَرْفَعُهَا اللَّهُ فَوْقَ الْغَمَامِ وَيَفْتَحُ لَهَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ وَيَقُولُ الرَّبُّ وَعِزَّتِي لأَنْصُرَنَّكَ وَلَوْ بَعْدَ حِينٍ "  . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ وَسَعْدَانُ الْقُبِّيُّ هُوَ سَعْدَانُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ . وَقَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ وَأَبُو عَاصِمٍ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ كِبَارِ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ وَأَبُو مُجَاهِدٍ هُوَ سَعْدٌ الطَّائِيُّ وَأَبُو مُدِلَّةَ هُوَ مَوْلَى أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَائِشَةَ وَإِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَيُرْوَى عَنْهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ أَتَمَّ مِنْ هَذَا وَأَطْوَلَ .
