@FreddyLA7@DavidAbu_ oh my god this guy is gonna go crazy for the cascade mountain ranges and of course german/austrian town leavenworth 😂 since it’ll feel like home
not every stadium in america is all about the fireworks 😭 you will see 2 stadiums in the world cup that are the loudest in the world without all the theatrics btw
@MynameisNadia__ the stadiums are pretty soulless but i don’t think the english premier league stadiums have character on the interior either lmao i think there are a lot of europeans that are fine with america hosting
@MynameisNadia__ not when they see the public transport available and then the heat they might be thinking again. once again there are valid reasons to be critical other than just ticket pricing. the stats denying visas to players and refs and not to mention the current political climate
@MynameisNadia__ exactly why i am saying they aren’t complaining because they can’t afford it. they are complaining because of some valid reasons and some not so valid that the media is overplaying
@MynameisNadia__ i live in a city hosting a game. i have been defending the world cup being in north america as a good thing… but to rub it in to the average fan who might be able to afford a ticket to a game is much different than buying a hotel room, plane ticket, and food all at once.
“please learn facts” and the thread is about how stadiums in the US are lifeless and have no character 😭 not every stadium is a lifeless bowl oh my god just like every stadium in england isn’t a boring old stadium
@paris_wisdom i mean there are serious gripes about the games being here because of the insane politics of america for sure. but the games will most likely be loads of fun!
finding any reason to complain at this point. sure visa issues and the US govt. not allowing certain countries from the middle east into the country is stupid. but the rest of the “issues” are literally being fabricated by english and some other european futbol fans
The USA was awarded the world cup June 23,2018. Yes! You read that right.
They have known for 8 years that they will be hosting it. Yet, every single story that comes up makes it look like they were awarded impromptu.
Japan almost left Mexico because of poor training grounds, Iran are yet to even get Visas for the tournament, Senegal complained over security issues that welcomed them on arrival, fans are being denied entrance right left and center and now venomous snakes hounding Switzerland.
It is a world cup and every continent deserves the right to host it. We must admit though that the US are doing a terrible job at it. The tournament has barely started and teams are already frustrated. The pitch does not even look in shape. Tickets are not being sold.
One must question the wisdom of hosting the biggest sporting event majorly in a country that do not understand the importance of it or even call the sport the right name ( still soccer there).
I hope the football on the pitch makes us all forget the pre tournament debacle.
We see.
@paris_wisdom i believe it will be great. there are serious concerns about public transport, Weather and pricing for sure. but for the viewer at home nothing will change except for the look of the stadiums.
@paris_wisdom public transportation is an issue that the average citizen in America doesn’t even understand themselves. that is a gripe i could understand because it is not easy to get to some of these stadiums.
@paris_wisdom the friendly match in Tampa Florida is overblown because that stadium isn’t even hosting a match and i can promise you it is not a sign of things to come. the stadiums are some of the best stadiums in the world and i think people that don’t live in the states will love them
