It was a great outing at the 60th Anniversary of the Nigerian Defence Academy - where I spoke alongside other Discussants on: "Issues and Challenges in Protecting Civilians in Conflict". For me, it was a rare privilege to be back at the Academy as a Civilian, discussing issues that are of great importance to everyone.

The CEO of XeJet, Mr. Emmanuel Iza visited me in Jalingo, this afternoon. During our meeting, he made known his intention of partnering Taraba State on Air Taraba.

In my usual demeanour of always paying attention to any initiative/idea that will develop the state of Taraba, I acknowledged his proposition and did re-emphasized my administration's commitment to upgrade the Suntai Airport - as the re-modeling of the airport is ongoing.
