Sometimes the most powerful weapon isn’t a weapon at all.
“The best weapon is to sit down and talk.” — Nelson Mandela
Spotted outside the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo. A simple thought. A powerful reminder
AI progress. AI purpose.
My third article for Exchange4Media got published today.
Would love for you to give it a read and, as always, would genuinely value your feedback.
Would love to hear your perspective on this one.

Sometimes you really can stand on history. 😉
Stumbled upon the exact spot at Capella Singapore where Trump and Kim Jong Un shook hands for the first time in 2018.
Just a handshake.
One very historic spot.

After 25+ years of building teams and revenue engines in the corporate world, I’m making a meaningful pivot. I am joining Ecosystm as Chief Commercial Officer in the journey ahead, marking my entry into the digital native space with an entrepreneurial mindset not just as a leader but to help shape the future direction of the business. Moving from the structure of established corporations to a space where the lines between leading and creating are much more fluid is incredibly exciting. I’m joining to help accelerate a business that is already at a fascinating inflection point, evolving Ecosystm’s research and advisory business, together with the acquisition of the CoVentured AI research platform into a collective force, as an AI-led growth and transformation platform.
My conversations with Amit Gupta were less about a standard corporate role and more about a shared vision for what Ecosystm can become. My focus will be on building a high-impact digital native company, scaling the commercial engine across the group, and working with the team to also tightly integrate https://t.co/9soLBgs3oH, our AI transformation practice, from blueprint to deeply embedded client execution. We want to leverage these tech capabilities to drive a much larger, dominant footprint across APAC. Over the last few years, I’ve focused heavily on adapting my own skill sets to the AI landscape. I’m hoping that experience helps us accelerate our momentum, but honestly, I'm just as excited to learn from the brilliant team already in place as we build something highly impactful together.
My second column for exchange4media’s “AI Unfiltered” series is out today.
This one has been on my mind for quite some time.
As AI takes over more of the production work in sales, the decks, research, forecasts and analysis, I’ve been wondering:
What will really differentiate a good salesperson from a great one?
I’ve put down a few thoughts based on my experiences over the years. I don’t claim to have the answer, these are simply observations and questions I’ve been thinking about.
Would love for you to give it a read and share your thoughts.
If you agree, disagree, or have a completely different perspective, I’d genuinely love to hear it. Some of the best thinking happens when we challenge each other’s views.
Thanks, as always, for reading and sharing your feedback.

$1 billion ad run rate in less than 200 days.
Impressive. But the more interesting test starts now in India.
ChatGPT Ads isn’t just another advertising channel. Its potential advantage is context.
Google knows what you searched. Meta knows what you clicked.
ChatGPT can potentially understand what you’re trying to solve, your preferences, constraints and where you are in the decision journey.
That could make the intent behind a click far more valuable.
The question isn’t whether ChatGPT Ads will be more expensive.
It’s whether the click will be worth more.
If it can prove that, advertisers won’t care about the premium.
India could be where that gets tested at scale.
ChatGPT Ads just hit $1bn run rate. Now comes the price test in India https://t.co/t8wxoN0m3G via @e4mtweets
I’ve been thinking about something that I believe is going to become a much bigger issue for marketers and sales teams.
How do you build trust with something that isn’t your customer, but increasingly influences what your customer sees and buys?
Think about it.
Who gets recommended.
Which product gets shortlisted.
Which vendor makes the list.
Which ad gets served.
Which content gets seen.
And eventually, what gets bought.
We’ve spent the last couple of years talking about AI as a productivity tool and as a co-pilot.
But I think something much bigger is happening.
AI is slowly becoming the gatekeeper.
And that changes the game.
The next competitive advantage may not be about getting your brand in front of more people. It may be about getting your brand into the decision-making process of the AI itself.
I’m not sure the industry has really figured out what that means yet.
Feels like we’re going to be talking about this a lot more.
