A few have fallen by the wayside over the past two years, but our open evening has succeeded in bringing in several quality new recruits 😃 but we're always looking for more- pop along, Wednesday evening Temple Methodist Church room, next to the church

[Taunton Deane MVC @tauntondeanemvc]

Don't forget Neroche Hall, out Staple Fitzpaine way, 7.30 on Saturday 19th March, would be good to see some of you there

[Taunton Deane MVC @tauntondeanemvc]

Been a bit quiet, sorry, the dreaded #Covid_19 has run through many of us in the choir recently, including this twitterer, but mostly recovered now

our 75th anniversary concert tonight, 7.30, St Andrews Church, Taunton, tickets available- it is a huge venue, so no trouble social distancing, why not join us?

[Taunton Deane MVC @tauntondeanemvc]

Good show last night- great to hear Luis Martelo trumpeter and friends, West Somerset Brass Band, Eight to the Bar ladies a capella group, Rotary Choir and others. One of the nice things about doing a guest slot is the chance to hear and meet other performers.

[Taunton Deane MVC @tauntondeanemvc]

If you're around in Taunton tomorrow 6 Nov, why not come to Temple Methodist Church, 7pm start, tickets on the door. You'll hear not only us, but other musical acts too, including a band, proceeds to local charities. What's not to like?

[Taunton Deane MVC @tauntondeanemvc]

493 followers- there must be 7 nice people out there?

[Taunton Deane MVC @tauntondeanemvc]

Very pleased with the show last night- we done good after a very long break, and short rehearsal time. Appreciative audience including @tauntonmayor, thanks for coming

[Barry Havenhand @BarryHavenhand]

Needles to say @tauntondeanemvc has many Welsh members, so the rugby took priority before we performed last night. I gave Stuart a special mention for declining a ticket so he could sing

[Taunton Deane MVC @tauntondeanemvc]

7.30 tonight @TMAC_Taunton Tacchi Morris, our first performance for a very long time- wish us luck!

[Taunton Deane MVC @tauntondeanemvc]

Still some tickets available for our concert next Saturday, please contact the Tacchi Morris Arts Centre @TMAC_Taunton if you want to be there. You know it makes sense!

Funeral of one of our members, Dr John Crosby, yesterday. Hard to describe the mixture of emotions, but a large turnout by the Choir, gave him a good send off with "Anthem" and "Rachie".
