This is how fans should show support to a coach you admire and hopes to continue leading your program. Some of the public bashing of Lane I’ve seen is embarrassing
Open letter to our Coach @Lane_Kiffin
As you labor over your decision, I, who loves my University and my Ole Miss family, just want to tell you, thank you! It's not said enough. You always give credit to your players, coaches and fans but I, and I know I'm not speaking alone, give credit to you for what you have done at Ole Miss. You've exceeded everyone's expectations by building this program into a national contender! You've made us realistically believe we can win it all! Ole Miss will never be satisfied with just being good anymore.
You have the right, like any of us, to choose your place of employment. As a proud Rebel, I will be praying to the same God as you that He blesses you to stay. However, that is your choice and I for one, will respect your decision. As you choose your next chapter, be it at Ole Miss or not, I hope for nothing less than happiness for you and your family.
Again, Coach, THANK YOU!!! Hotty Toddy!
LSU has fired Brian Kelly.
Kelly has a $54 million buyout, the second-largest buyout in the history of college football.
College football teams have already spent $170 million on buyouts this year, easily surpassing the previous record of $118 million….with 3 months left.
I find it hard to believe this was an accident. Valdez shows no remorse after the pitch. Salazar clearly thinks it’s intentional as well. Do not be this type of teammate
There’s speculation that Astros pitcher Framber Valdez purposely crossed up his catcher Cesar Salazar and hit him with this pitch after Salazar told him to step off before allowing a grand slam
Murray St. making it to Omaha is one of the best stories in college sports. This is their stadium it holds 800 people. Their head coach Dan Skirka literally cuts the grass.
Gotta feel good for those guys.
@Genetics56 Their growth has been fascinating so they’re doing something right. I’m not sure the in person experience can be replicated through TV though
Unfortunate for both sides. He has every right to leave and bet on himself but not sure why his advisors thinks this is the right move. Hope the best for him but this feels like another Jaden Rashada/Malachi Nelson situation where he finds trouble settling into a new home
Sources: Tennessee is moving on from starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava. Tennessee coach Josh Heupel informed the team of the decision at a team meeting this morning. Iamaleava missed meetings and practice on Friday, which was the driver of this decision.
If the SEC is able to sustain its overall success in men’s basketball this year, it would be tough for me to not label them as the best overall conference in college sports. They routinely produce top teams across all major sports. Excited to see how the growing P2 plays out
