accepting myself fully. even the undesirable parts and corners of myself i don’t like to visit. accepting the parts of myself still learning, the ones that play small out of trauma or conditioning. accepting myself, good and bad, high and low, unconditionally.
Some people rly care more about their pride and being right than they care about creating the change they think they’re so right about and it showwwsssssss
it's ironic when people say that self-love is a selfish endeavor, because when you work to become a better version of yourself, you position yourself to be a blessing to everybody you come into contact with.
The more I heal the more I realize how most things outside of me, and my family are just not my concern. I'm more mindful of where my energy goes..& where my time is spent..these precious moments fly by so fast we often forget to enjoy them.
Every person who abused me in my life was incredibly charming and friendly with everyone. Which confused the hell out of people and myself when I tried to explain the abuse to others. I felt like I was gaslighting myself everytime. It’s very unfortunate.
Sometimes your shadow side, the part of you that got repressed or hidden away because of being shamed or invalided, is the part of you that was born with special gifts and abilities.
