@Dwb3D@InsaneAppollo@Tesla@elonmusk@aelluswamy@googlemaps I guess that last case doesn't make sense unless I explain that his garage is like a 3 minute drive from the front of his house, even though it's attached and like 100 feet from the front. You have to go around a few blocks to access his back alleyway.
@Dwb3D@InsaneAppollo@Tesla@elonmusk@aelluswamy@googlemaps Yep! It's perfect for this use case of detached garages. I also use it at a buddies house that has access from two sides. FSD to his address drops me on a main street, but his plus code puts me at his garage.
@InsaneAppollo@Dwb3D@Tesla@elonmusk@aelluswamy@googlemaps ๐
Google decided there needed to be a new system for geographically identifying places with no address. Think ZIP codes, but accurate to like 10 feet instead of entire cities. I have used them exactly once in my life, and it was in my Tesla lol. Nowhere else.
@Dwb3D@InsaneAppollo@Tesla@elonmusk@aelluswamy@googlemaps You can use plus codes, e.g. 8P67+M3P. Grab it from Google Maps on web/mobile and save it in your car. Avoids ambiguous address issues entirely. I use this for my detached garage and it works great.
@LA_Multi_Fam Officials are focusing on discounting the reactions to the Republican moving to third place, but that result isn't surprising. If that counter-narrative slips, there will need to be self reflection on the part of the CA government to figure out what exactly happened.
@LA_Multi_Fam The anomalous late drops skewing for one Democrat over the other suggest late ballots had prior knowledge of election results. It's unlikely this was coordinated on election night. The numbers are pointing to some level of postmark backdating happening on behalf of harvesters.
@brianeskow Debatable, but legally no. It is however fraudulent to cast a vote after election day, for instance by backdating a postmark. Evidence showing thousands of these votes being tallied is evidence of rigging, though further investigation would be required to call the election rigged
@cryptoklotz Cavities can vary significantly in severity and that leads to some ambiguity in diagnosis. Some dentists will even opt to drill and fill areas they suspect a cavity is forming.
Then there are those questionable ones that are very generous with their diagnoses, to their benefit..
@XavierBecerra CA law requires you count every valid vote. Thousands of votes cast after election day are being counted. Counting votes *received* after election day is one thing.. counting votes *cast* after election day is fraud.
@AthletesInSpace The primary complaint is the data showing there was significant voting happening after election day. I don't think any serious statisticians believed the Republican had a chance at first or second place finish.
By definition, the late votes are fraudulent - there were thousands.
@acnewsitics I think the argument is to void the votes cast *after* election day, of which the data shows there were thousands in the recent LA mayoral race
@RoKhanna If we're lifting the cap on retirement contributions to SS, I'm sure you'd agree we should remove the cap on 401K etc. too, right? Also lift the cap on SS benefits?
@johnnymaga CA election officials need to be working to figure out what happened here. Pratt is no surprise, a Republican was never going to win LA. The Bass/Raman ratios are anomalies though. It's likely post-election day voting, which seriously questions the legitimacy of their system.
@geerlingguy I used it at home and in the lab with success, but I knew it was destined to fail when the various enterprises I've worked with basically all wrote it off a decade ago, not excluding some of the biggest names in the tech industry.
@HasWesley85571@Not_the_Bee The resulting vote for the Republican isn't strange. The sudden swing for the second place Democrat is what's statistically anomalous, and can't really be explained away by Democrats voting late or youth pulling for her.
@HistorianUSA1 The crowds and parking situation alone were enough to convince me to cancel my Costco membership. I saw it one too many times. They oversell memberships and individual clubs suck because of it. Sam's is beautiful by comparison.
@EndWokeness I've heard the explanations about republican voter vs. democrat voter turnout early on, which may explain the shift there. But what can possibly explain the massive shift in inter-party votes? Is this new batch from Raman's hometown? Can't think of why else that would make sense.
