In response to the catastrophic impacts of the recent DANA floods in Spain, SatCen has been activated alongside other EU tools to support emergency services on the ground.

🛰️In such situations, geospatial analysis provides essential insights to help emergency responders better understand the unfolding situation and determine the most effective course of action.

The SatCen team remains both dedicated and proud in supporting our host nation for as long as needed.

🛰️ Today's informal meeting of EU Ministers of Defence included a working lunch on #SatCen, where the Centre's critical contribution to the EU's situational awareness and strategic foresight was discussed. 
The meeting took stock of the work done by the Centre and addressed the way forward.
