In other news …. This is the branding @wnba should lean on. Natisha has grown her running club tremendously and is doing real change for not just women’s sports but an active healthy lifestyle . The media has been quiet about that .worth celebrating this
Today marks the start of my high school career as a 3-sport athlete. Today I am excited to have earned a spot on our Varsity volleyball team wearing #2. "Today I will do what others won't so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can't."
Go Wolves!
One final appreciation/thank you post to our 17U players and families….
In the words of Coach Pav:
“Words cannot express the gratitude, pride and genuine love there is for this group of individuals. They are more than players to me. The vision was set four years ago to be a highly competitive basketball team that believed in a culture of hard work, humble attitudes and selflessness. We all grew year to year, built stronger bonds, made many memories and played the best competition available. Extremely proud to be associated with this group and to have played a role in their journey. You set an example of what high school athletics should be about - growth/development, relationships and memories! The best is yet to come for these talented ladies on and off the court. Life is about the journey and what a ride it was! You made me a better coach and person - THANK YOU for everything!
Special acknowledgement to Brian Crowe. Could not have done this without you. Forever grateful for the conversations, dedication, knowledge and suggestions. Appreciate it all!
Lastly, to the families, THANK YOU! You made the trips, tourneys, dinners, excursions and experience very rewarding.”
