After a 2 week break, we head to Ireland for the Bray airshow this weekend. The team are proud to be part of the very impressive line up. @BrayAirShow@FORTISwatches
It’s been another incredible weekend at the 2019 #WalesAirshow!
We can’t wait to welcome you back next year, as we’re delighted to confirm the Wales Airshow will return on 4 and 5 July 2020!
From all of us here at Wales Airshow, have a safe journey home and see you next year!
Our first half of the season bookings are almost all confirmed, just waiting on a few more and then we will publish our May, June and July schedule next week.
At this point all I can say is, I wish we were... https://t.co/DVK87m1zGr
We are having a press and public open day on Saturday 11th May at Pembrey airfield.
There will be a few PR flights and a full display practice.
The public are invited to meet the pilots and have a close look at... https://t.co/4U9xYMYZEX
Big day tomorrow.
We fly to get our 2019 display authorisation at Pembrey airfield.
Yet again, we have another very experienced display pilot, warbird pilot/examiner casting his expert eye over us.
Unfortunately the weather beat us today. We got to Pembrey, did another cloud-base check and ran as fast as we could back to Swansea before it really closed in.
Oh well, tomorrow’s another day.
Fingers crossed!
Weather permitting, we are hoping to put a 4 ship up a few times on Saturday to get back in to the grove of formation aerobatics and build towards our 2019 routine
With aircraft maintenance almost finished, we can’t wait to get our pre season build up underway.
We have a few new manoeuvres for 2019 and hope to start practicing the tail end of January, weather permitting.
