I pulled some old footage out of the Vault for this weeks video. Last year, Katherine Randall, a Ford Chief Application Engineer gave me an education on the Model T and the earlier alphabet cars that Ford produced before the T came out in 1908 before she headed off on the Durability Run between Lansing and Dearborn. This year she will be at the Cones and Cruisers car show that will take place at the Ford Engineering Lab on September 9th where there will be a lineup of the alphabet cars that Katherine is organizing. If you are in Southeast Michigan, come by, if not, stay tuned as I will be there and hope to create some cool videos. #ModelT #ConesandCruisers
If you’re in Detroit for dream cruise, make sure to check out our radio station. You can hear me wax poetic about the Mustang and the Bronco.

@Mike_kim714 great to see you in person on the course today. Fairways and greens tomorrow. Loved seeing your drive on 11. 240 yards to 13 feet. Just amazing. I know you see zillions of videos of your swing, but one fans perspective.
I am here in Le Mans France for the famous 24 hour race, but how about a history lesson in the origins of Ford Racing 125 years ago? Henry Ford drove Sweepstakes to victory in 1901 defeating heavily favored Alexander Winton. I was fortunate to get a ride on a Sweepstakes replica at The Henry Ford Museum. What a cool day in the office! #Sweepstakes #FordRacing #AmericasRaceTeam #LeMans
21 year-old Elvis Presley checking out his brand-new 1956 Continental Mark II in Miami on August 8, 1956. Photographer Charles Trainor caught this moment right during Elvis's frantic summer tour of Florida.
Big news coming this summer in Washington DC. An amazing Ford experience will open in July to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. #A250#FordMotorCompany#ArsenalofDemocracy

The reveal of the Ford/Carhartt Superduty truck was amazing. We set up exhibits at the media briefing center and at Michigan Central Station where Dave Moore, the Archivist from Carhartt, also had a display. It was fun to talk about the shared history of the two iconic companies as well as the role both had played with our essential workers over the years. #Carhartt #FordSuperduty #essentialeconomy

Play Ball part II! I was very fortunate that Sam Wallace was able to give me a tour of Monument Garden at Truist Park when I recorded my From the Vault video on the shared history of Ford and the Atlanta Braves. Sam is the official historian of the Braves and curates the exhibits in Monument Garden each year. Sam knocked this years exhibit out of the park! If you get a chance to go to a Braves game or take a tour, make sure to check it out. Off camera, Sam and I were jokingly arguing about who had the best job in the world. As neither of us would give ours up, I think we reached the agreement that we both did. #AtlantaBraves #FordHeritageVault #MonumentGarden #IHaveTheBestJobInTheWorld
Rise and shine campers! Its Mustang Day! on April 17, 1964, the Mustang was introduced at the NY Worlds Fair. The blue letter launching the Mustang and my favorite Iacocca memo with some photos of my boys and our Mustangs.
My favorite quote on the design of the Mustang.
“Specifications for the new car gradually evolved from the accumulated research data. Weight: not more than 2,500 lbs. Length: not more than 180 inches. Engine: peppy six-cylinder, optional V-8. Seating four passengers, with bucket seats and other sporty touches. Personality: demure enough for church-going, racy enough for the dragstrip, modish enough for the country club. #MustangDay #MustangBirthday
Who can crack the case of the missing cut glass bowl? Take a look to discover the story behind the missing trophy that Henry Ford won in 1901 with his first (and last) race in the famous car, Sweepstakes. The bowl has been missing since the 60s. I would love to find it to add it to the Ford Vault. #FordRacing #Sweepstakes #CutGlassBowl #FordHeritageVault @RedRacer

Play Ball! I took a trip down memory lane with the Atlanta Braves and visited Monument Garden at Truist Park. Carolyn Serra and Sam Wallace have done an amazing job showcasing the Braves Heritage with the exhibits and the tours. It was great to see Hank Aaron’s 715 ball in person again. Thanks to the Sam and the Atlanta Braves for letting me in the park before the season to record, @chrisdimino for meeting me for breakfast and to Helen McGaughy for putting aside her day job to film me! #PlayBall #AtlantaBraves
