Mamdani framed the incident at the Muslim Center of New York as another example of anti-Muslim hostility.

But now reports are circulating that claim the individual involved was actually a longtime member of the mosque carrying a BB gun, not an outside attacker motivated by Islamophobia.

If those reports are accurate, then why were so many public figures so quick to imply a hate-driven attack before the facts were known?

Once again, the biggest lesson may be this:

Wait for the evidence before pushing a narrative.

If politicians or media figures got ahead of the facts, they should correct the record just as publicly as they amplified the original claims.

Americans deserve facts, not assumptions.

🚨 SHOCKING NEW DHS REPORT BLOWS THE LID OFF THE TRUMP ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT 🚨

According to a newly released DHS Inspector General report, the Secret Service’s counter-drone system was out of service during the exact window Thomas Crooks flew a drone over the Butler rally site.

It gets worse.

The report says the system was being operated by an agent who had reportedly received only about 20 minutes of informal training and didn’t know the equipment was supposed to be tested before the event.

While the system was down, Crooks allegedly flew his drone over the rally area for nearly nine minutes, capturing views of both the stage and the building he would later use in the attack.

How did Crooks know to fly his drone at the EXACT time the system was down?

How did he know when that would be?

The system wasn’t restored until after that flight had already ended.

This wasn’t just one mistake. It was a chain of security failures that the report says included equipment problems, training deficiencies, and missed opportunities to detect the threat before shots were fired.

It may have even been a purposeful effort to allow President Trump to be assassinated.

Americans deserve clear answers.

🚨 HORRIFIC: TERROR PLOT AGAINST NC CHURCHES THWARTED AT THE LAST SECOND 🚨

According to authorities, a man in North Carolina was arrested after allegedly showing up near a church carrying an alarming cache of weapons, including flamethrowers, crossbows, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, body armor, police scanners, and a notebook reportedly containing addresses of churches and schools.

What stopped this from becoming a tragedy?

An alert church member noticed something wasn’t right and called 911.

An off-duty police officer working security confronted the suspect before anyone inside the church was harmed.

Let that sink in.

One observant citizen. One prepared officer.

If the allegations are accurate, their actions may have prevented a catastrophic loss of life.

This is also a reminder that houses of worship are not immune from violence. Every church should take security seriously while continuing to remain a place of faith, hope, and community.

Thank God this ended with an arrest instead of another headline about innocent people being murdered.

A former volunteer for a Democratic congressional campaign in Wisconsin has reportedly posted videos urging followers to “kill your local Republican” while also calling for a so-called “trans jihad.”

According to the campaign, the individual was removed after a brief time volunteering, and the candidate publicly condemned the threats and violence.

There should be zero ambiguity here.

Calling for the murder of your political opponents isn’t activism.
It isn’t protest.
It isn’t protected by morality.

It’s incitement.

If anyone on the Right posted a video saying “kill your local Democrat,” it would dominate every headline for weeks, and law enforcement would be under enormous pressure to respond.

The standard should be the same no matter who is targeted.

Political violence has no place in America. Every public figure, every campaign, and every political movement should condemn calls for murder immediately and without qualification.

America doesn’t survive if we start treating assassination fantasies like campaign slogans.

Cleveland City Council votes to let a surveillance camera contract expire.

The elected officials say the program should end.

The contract expires.

Yet the cameras reportedly stay online anyway because Flock has decided to keep them running while the city “figures things out.”

Read that again.

If a private company is willing to provide a surveillance network at no cost, Americans should be asking one simple question:

Why?

Data is one of the most valuable commodities on Earth.

If a company can continue operating hundreds of cameras without being paid, what value are they receiving in return? Also, how are they allowed to do this legally?!

Who owns the data?

Who can access it?

How long is it stored?

What happens if local governments lose the practical ability to shut these systems down once they’re deployed?

Whether you support these cameras or not, transparency matters. If surveillance technology continues operating after a contract expires, the public deserves clear answers about the legal authority, oversight, data handling, and privacy protections involved.

The bigger these networks become, the harder they may be to unwind.

Technology should always remain accountable to the people, not the other way around.

Millions of Americans work 40, 50, even 60 hours a week with little time off. They expect the people they elected to show the same commitment.
