A group of Otterbein University students will be producing a student film at the Otterbein Cemetery (175 S. Knox St.) and Alum Creek Park North late evening, Saturday, April 11. Please do not be alarmed, as the Westerville Division of Police is aware of the students’ plans.
Today, Friday, April 10, Walnut Street at Summit Lane will be reduced to one lane of two-way traffic, which will be controlled by flaggers. Work will begin late morning, and is expected to last approximately two hours.
College Avenue from Otterbein Avenue to Spring Road is currently open to to local traffic only due to water service work. The closure is projected to last until early afternoon on Thursday, Feb. 19.

The Public Service Department will be repairing a leaking valve at the intersection of W. Walnut and S. Knox Streets today. There is not a set start time for the work at the time of this post; however, roads will be closed during repairs, which are projected to take ~four hours.
Walnut Street is currently closed between Otterbein Street and N. State Street due to a structure fire. The Westerville Division of Fire has contained the fire, and all occupants are safe. Crews remain on the scene. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

An auto accident has been reported just before the I-270 on-ramp near Cleveland Avenue and Schrock Road. Although the accident is outside of City limits, backed-up traffic may impact the flow of traffic in Westerville. Please practice caution when driving near the area.
On Jan. 7 and Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Polaris Parkway will experience temporary short-term signal outages at the intersections of Polaris Parkway at Worthington Road and Polaris Parkway at Africa Road. WPD will control traffic during the signal outage.
The westbound left lane of County Line Road is closed at Africa Road for repairs today, Wednesday, Dec. 10. The City plans to reopen the lane this afternoon.
