When rain falls on bare, compacted soil, it’s not actually watering your land, but it’s washing it away. 💦

Without plant cover or organic matter, the soil surface gets “crusted” by raindrops. As a result you have to deal with runoff, soil erosion, and lost nutrients.

▫️1% more organic matter = 20,000 gallons of extra water storage per acre.
▫️Roots & Mulch act as armor, softening rain impact and channeling water deep down.
