It’s very interesting to me that both Merrill and JP Morgan contacts referenced the Facebook IPO when they called me to talk about SpaceX. It feels a bit like something they’ve been told to say in relation to the $SPCX IPO. JP also said to me that they are not permitted to make advised trades in the first month, only when it’s initiated by the client. Feels like scare tactics. JP also said they can’t talk about the SpaceX IPO at all over email due to quiet period.
From what I've heard, the best hookups for $SPCX IPO allocation are Goldman and Schwab. I moved most from Schwab after how they handled the Elon vote and Goldman is generally for clients with $20M+
Vlad at Robinhood said today in their earnings call that no minimums to get allocation to $SPCX - which probably means a lot of people get 1 share. Oh well, better than nothing!
Just spoke to a contact at the private wealth management team at Merrill Lynch, they are only allocating $SPCX to fully managed clients with >$1M (not self directed) and even then they don't know how much they will get to allocate - contact said he hasn't seen anything like the demand since the Facebook IPO, they are getting a lot of random calls from random people off the street 😂
@beffjezos The deal is just literally short-term as a statement of fact. It may be renewed at a lower price, the same price, a higher price or it may end.
For what it’s worth, the short deal length was our request, not theirs, as I thought we might need the compute back at some point.
Neuralink is planning its first Blindsight implant later this year, aiming to restore limited vision even for people who have lost both eyes, their optic nerve, or were born blind
Over time, it could potentially go beyond that and offer enhanced or even superhuman vision
It’s Cybercab Bonanza day at Giga Texas! Fresh off the posting yesterday showing Cybercabs autonomously driving out of the production like exit point and taking the ~2 mile trip to the W EOL and @Tesla being granted a Level 4 Autonomous @Roxotabw service license in Texas, today we see a lot of Cybercabs on the move, with the hatch open showing the wheel covers prepped for shipping, ~ a dozen lined up at the factory exit point and much more!
Check out this Cybercab action today!
“The reserved shares target staff, friends, and family of leaders, can be purchased at the IPO price, and are exempt from the lock-up restrictions that apply to over 60% of pre-IPO shares including Elon Musk’s holdings.”
Tesla sales in Europe in May 2026 (YoY):
• France: +655% (best selling May ever)
• Denmark: +136%
• Spain: +113%
• Sweden: +71%
• Norway: +29%
Additional country data coming later this week. Registrations of electrified vehicles - including battery -electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid models - rose about 21% in Europe and made up more than two-thirds of the region's total registrations in April, according to data from ACEA.
Part of the big YoY increase is due to new Model Y production ramping up in the first half of 2025, but sales demand in general has also improved in the region. As you can see with France, it had its best May ever and the 10th best overall sales month ever.
