One small step.
OTD 54 years ago, Apollo 11 crewmembers became the first human beings to set foot on the lunar surface.
Today, we’re building on the legacy of Apollo as we prepare to establish a long-term human infrastructure on the Moon with #Artemis. #InternationalMoonDay
Dr. Ben Malphrus @bmalphrus and Professor Jose Garcia @jlgarciamx talking with a group of international students in Aeronautics from Mexico. Great opportunity to visit Morehead State University Space Science Center. A beautiful state-of-the-art facility containing classrooms, laboratories, cleanrooms, and equipment for satellite environmental testing. The two-story, building encompasses 45,000 square feet of floor space and includes a control center for the 21-meter space antenna system. TSL’s cleanroom is located on the second floor of the building. What a great tour opportunity!
