Today, it feels surreal to have been announced as a member of the The Future Awards Africa (Independent) Oyo State Jury, alongside the exceptional Kemi Irinoye and Charles Alade.

There are moments in life that quietly remind you how far you’ve come.

Years ago, I admired The Future Awards Africa from a distance. It was the platform that celebrated young Africans who were redefining excellence, innovation, and leadership. Like many others, I looked forward to the announcements, inspired by the stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

This is more than an appointment; it is a responsibility. To help identify and recognize the next generation of creatives, innovators, and changemakers in Oyo State for one of Africa’s most respected and credible awards is an honour I do not take lightly.

To everyone who has trusted my judgment, supported my journey, and believed in my commitment to excellence, thank you. I look forward to serving with integrity and celebrating the incredible talent our state continues to produce.
