@LoganView64206@skdh Yes. SH pubilshed her last paper (Oct.2025 on arXiv) on that, a clever attempt to combine SD with Penrose´s gravitational collapse model. She predicts hints on hidden variables in quantum technology development within the next decade. She should have a chance to win the bet.
@lovinGrapeJuice@Briankeating Ah yes, if the muon-production is the problem, maybe we should put these devices on balloons and deposite them in the upper atmosphere, there muons naturally come from cosmic radiation? I think I should publish a paper...😉, wish you a nice day.
@jp_hig@skdh Thanks, didn´t know that. I thought he hangs on standard QM, pointing out the wonderful magic of non-locality in former a talk. But of course, that fits Bohmian mechanics too.
@Briankeating For me as layperson it seems somewhat vague to conclude "new physics" from this teeny tiny measurement uncertainty, more wishful thinking than reality.
@QuantumTumbler@singel_jo Thank you both, your talk reminds me of the deeply existential question about how our lifes are meaningful and our actions will be conserved. Physics says that information can´t be destroyed, right?Maybe the way AI deals with information is am mirror of what the universe does?
