After the summer break, we’re excited to welcome children back to our Into the Wild Club at the Terence Brown Arc!

Perfect for young nature lovers aged 5–11, Into the Wild gives children the opportunity to explore the outdoors, get hands-on with nature, learn new skills and have fun with friends. 💚

From bug hunting and habitat hunts to sowing and growing, bird watching, nature-inspired crafts, shelter building, fire safety and eco-learning including recycling and composting, there’s always something new to discover! 🐛🌻🌳

🌿🐞 Outdoor Explorers is Back! 🔥🌳

After the summer break, we’re excited to welcome children back to our Outdoor Explorers Afterschool Club at the Terence Brown Arc! 💚

Perfect for children aged 5–11, Outdoor Explorers is all about getting outside, discovering nature, trying new things and having fun with friends after school.

Sessions are packed with activities including adventure play, nature arts and crafts, games, bug hunting and habitat hunts, bird watching, shelter building, campfire cooking, free play and much more! 🐛🎨🔥

It’s a great opportunity for children to explore the outdoors, get creative, build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy hands-on experiences in nature. 🌱

👓🎨 Showing Off Their Personalities at SEND Youth Club! 💚

Our young people got creative at SEND Youth Club, designing and decorating their very own glasses to reflect their personalities! From choosing colours and decorations to creating their own individual designs, everyone had the chance to express themselves, get creative and have plenty of fun along the way. 🌈✨

Creative activities are just one part of our SEND Youth Clubs, where young people can enjoy creative arts, sports and exercise, music and dance, team games, cooking and much more. Our clubs provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for young people aged 9–25 with Special Educational Needs, helping them build new friendships and grow in confidence and self-esteem.

📍 We currently run weekly SEND Youth Clubs at the Terence Brown Arc, Glyn Hopkin Abbey Hub, Shipman Youth Zone and St Bartholomew’s Church and Centre.

🧱🌟 LEGO Club is Back This Week! 🌟🧱

After the summer break, we’re excited to welcome children back to our LEGO Club at the Terence Brown Arc in the Park this week! 💚

Our LEGO Club gives children the chance to get creative, use their imagination, develop new skills and have fun building alongside others. Sessions include creative free building, build challenges, themed sessions, large build projects and much more!

Whether they love following a challenge or creating something completely from their own imagination, there’s plenty for every young builder to enjoy!

🏔️ One Last Summer Adventure in Snowdonia! 🌲💚

Last week, some of our young people headed to Snowdonia in Wales for our final residential of the summer, enjoying an unforgettable experience with @OutwardBoundUK

Surrounded by the incredible Welsh countryside, the group had the opportunity to try new things, take on challenges and step outside their comfort zones, supporting and encouraging one another along the way. 🌿🥾

Residential experiences like this are about so much more than adventure. They give young people the chance to build confidence and self-esteem, develop resilience and independence, strengthen friendships and discover just how much they are capable of achieving.

It was fantastic to see everyone getting involved, overcoming challenges and creating memories together – a brilliant way to round off a summer packed with opportunities and new experiences at AAA! 🌟

🎡☀️ Summer Family Fun in Margate! 🏖️🌊

Our families enjoyed another fantastic summer day out, this time heading to Margate for a day of seaside fun! 💚

Families spent time relaxing and playing on the beach, enjoying the sunshine and making the most of the rides and attractions at @DreamlandMarg 🎢🎠 From the excitement of the rides to simply enjoying time together by the sea, there were lots of smiles and special memories made throughout the day.

Our summer family trips give local children and families the opportunity to experience new places, enjoy quality time together and create positive family memories. For many of the families we support, the cost of days out can be a real barrier, so being able to provide these experiences is an important part of our work.

As a small charity, trips like these are only possible thanks to the funding and support we receive from @GlynHopkinGroup helping us ensure more children and families across Newham can enjoy opportunities they might otherwise miss out on. 💚

Our families had a fantastic day out in Southend-on-Sea, enjoying the seaside and making the most of the rides and attractions at @Adv_Island ! From rollercoasters and fairground rides to spending quality time together, there were plenty of smiles and special memories made throughout the day. 🎠🎢💚

Our summer family trips are about much more than just a day out. They give local children and families the opportunity to enjoy new experiences together, spend quality time as a family and make positive memories, particularly for those who may otherwise face barriers to accessing days out like these.

Last week marked the final week of our SEND Short Breaks summer provision at the Terence Brown Arc, and what a brilliant way to finish!

The children and young people had a great time enjoying a mixture of games, sports, creative and sensory activities, with plenty of opportunities to have fun, socialise and spend time together. 🎨⚽✨

A highlight of the week was a fantastic bubble workshop 🫧, which brought lots of smiles, laughter and plenty of bubble-filled fun!

Last week saw the second of our free Summer Family Trips, as we headed off for a fantastic day at @ColchesterZoo ☀️

🌞 Our Family Summer Trips are off to a fantastic start! 🐾💚

Last week, families joined us for the first of our free summer trips with a visit to Hobbledown Heath, where they enjoyed a wonderful day exploring, playing and making lasting memories together.

From meeting amazing animals and discovering exciting play areas to spending quality time together outdoors, it was a day full of laughter, adventure and family fun.

Our Family Summer Trips are designed to give local families the opportunity to enjoy memorable experiences they may not otherwise have the chance to access. As well as providing fun days out during the school holidays, the trips help strengthen family relationships, reduce social isolation and create lasting memories for children and parents alike.
