@AzraHawthorne I have to remind myself that not everything I create has to be amazing. But that nothing I create will be amazing, if I don't create anything. I sometimes hesitate because I'm worried the result won't be what I'd hoped. Let that go, make a first attempt, and build from there.
@MadameDM_DND Hadn't played #DnD in ~30 yrs when a friend invited me to play w/ some of our actor & artist friends, having a blast. Meeting the brilliant @d20Dames led me to playing in @Rage_Kage_Games' one-shot campaign. Creative, caring people, in & away from the game. That can't be beat.
@BroadwayWorld In March, my acting student son & I saw Glenda Jackson as King Lear. Having just finished a powerful, 3 1/2-hour performance, she came out filled with energy & gratitude for everyone who was waiting. And she gave Cameron some practical advice for when he starts his career.
@venikunche Along those lines, how many people ask:
"I've played Madden for years. Should people call me Coach?"
"I've sung in my shower forever since I was a kid. I bought a karaoke machine. Should people say I'm a professional singer?"
I mean, yeah, dude, you *do* need help.
