Spent a joyful afternoon at a @theambertrust event. An incredible small charity providing musical opportunities for blind, partially sighted and children with complex special needs - such as the 7 year old here.

30 years on from when the extraordinary Prof Adam Ockleford discovered the enigma that is Derek Paravicini - on piano, the charity continues to discover more incredible talent, as well as provide programs, tools, support and music teachers for SEND and blind children.

We are so grateful to supporter, Matthew who ran the Great North Run earlier this month in aid of Amber. Matthew set himself a fundraising target of £1,000, and managed to raise a total of £1,588 – the equivalent of 63 music lessons!

A huge thank you to Jane, who recently invited 30 friends to her beautiful garden for a party. Jane and a friend both played the piano as background music.

Including gift aid, Jane and friends raised £1,037 in aid of Amber - the equivalent of just over 41 music lessons!
